There are some wedding days that feel especially meaningful, not just because of the beautiful details or golden light, but because of the heart behind it all. Chelsea and Blake’s wedding at Serendipity Garden in Oak Glen was one of those days. From start to finish, their celebration was centered on faith, family, and a deep, Christ-centered love that was evident in every moment.
I had the joy of photographing the day alongside my husband, Cody, who captured all the beautiful moments on video. There’s something so special about working together—being able to document a wedding both through still images and film allows us to tell a more complete story of the day, preserving not just how it looked, but how it felt.
Chelsea began her morning surrounded by her closest friends, laughter filling the room as she got ready. There was such a peaceful excitement in the air. One of my favorite moments was when she took a quiet pause before the ceremony—just a few seconds to reflect and pray. It set the tone for the entire day: intentional, grounded, and centered on what truly matters.

Blake, equally emotional and joyful, waited with anticipation to see his bride. Their first touch was full of genuine emotion—the kind that can’t be staged. As an Oak Glen wedding photographer, these are the moments I live for: real, unscripted, and deeply meaningful.
Their ceremony was a beautiful reflection of their faith. Surrounded by loved ones and the stunning natural beauty of Serendipity Garden, Chelsea and Blake made vows not only to each other but before God. Scripture was woven throughout the ceremony, and there was a tangible sense of reverence and joy as they committed their lives to one another. It was a true celebration of a Christ-centered marriage.

After the ceremony, we explored the grounds for portraits, taking full advantage of the golden hour light that Oak Glen does so well. The soft glow through the trees, the rolling hills in the distance—it all came together perfectly to create timeless, romantic images. Chelsea and Blake were completely in their element, soaking in those first moments as husband and wife.

The reception was filled with heartfelt toasts, joyful tears, and so much laughter. Friends and family shared stories that spoke to Chelsea and Blake’s character, their faith, and the love they share. Every detail of the day felt intentional and personal, from the décor to the way they interacted with every guest.
One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how grounded it felt. In the midst of all the excitement and celebration, the focus never shifted away from what truly mattered: their commitment to each other and their shared faith.

Chelsea and Blake, it was such an honor to capture your wedding day. Your love is genuine, your faith is inspiring, and your joy is contagious. I’m so grateful Cody and I got to be a part of it all.
